There is evidence to suggest that people have been riding the waves on a piece of wood for nearly 4,000 years! In more recent times, we have sadly seen the emergence of the polystyrene & plastic bodyboards, which break easily, and are discarded on our beaches to pollute our marine environment. Our hope is that more and more people return to the natural way of enjoying the surf – on a wooden board!

Our name comes from our location, on the edge of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall, UK.

We only use quality, sustainably sourced materials- Birch and Okoume marine ply and Paulownia laminates. All our paints, varnishes and oil finishes are toxin free.
